members, and has created this privacy policy to demonstrate our commitment to protecting
your personal information and informing you about how we handle it.
Information we collect
Consumers who register with thecampusbook.com must provide their name, e-mail address, and educational status.
We also ask for optional information, including your Date of Birth and Gender. The optional information allows thecampusbook.com
to tailor its services to students more accurately as we get a better idea of which demographics use the site more.
We will not share any of your personal information gathered on this site with third parties unless you have checked the corresponding
checkbox on your profile page allowing us to so.
We also detect and use the IP address of visitors to the site in order to assist us with diagnosing and solving problems
with our servers and to assist with the administration of our web site.
Changing your information
You can always change your personal information using the 'update your profile' link available at the top of the page (login required).
Privacy of professor reviews and ratings
Under no circumstances will thecampusbook.com ever divulge the names of any of our users who have submitted numerical ratings or textual reviews about professors to their professors or any other professors.
We value the trust that our users have placed in us and we keep this information private from even most of thecampusbook.com staff.
Privacy of book postings at the book exchange
Your name, e-mail address, or any other personally identifiable information will not appear along side any books that you post to the book exchange.
If you make an offer on another book, your name will be revealed to the book's owner.
